128 South is located in the historic VonKampen Building (circa 1862) and features one of the last great examples of a Victorian façade including the original stained glass windows. During the late 1800s the W. H. S. Fuchs Dry Goods was housed in the building and offered the largest grocery store in three counties. Some features include exposed heart-of-pine beams, hardwood floors throughout, and enormous bay windows with views of South Front Street.
